Artist’s Workday (2021) Live stream performance on YouTube

The live stream performance “Artist’s Workday” is an eight-hour stream where the viewer gets a glimpse of a typical day of a visual artist. Many of us have been working from home since early 2020, hidden from the eyes of others. The performance discusses the artist as an employee, and work as an artistic concept. It also strives to demonstrate how mundane some work days are in the creative field. Work is work even if the artist is working as a performance.

Finnish Cultural Foundation and KULTA Ry hired artists to create and present artworks in places where art is not usually seen.
